It has come out that Madonna is creating a huge divorce case based on the fact that Guy Ritchie verbally abused her during their marriage. If we had her kind of money, we'd try to get out of giving as much of it away as possible too by grabbing at any of his faults and running with it. "They include allegations that he told her she 'looked like a granny' on stage compared with her younger backing dancers. He is also alleged to have declared that she could not act, and was 'past it' after she turned 50." Does this really qualify as abuse? It sounds more like rude little jabs; labeling some snide comments as verbal abuse may be a bit of a stretch. Lawyers for Madonna say that his nasty remarks made her feel unattractive and worthless during the span of their 8-year marriage. Millions and millions of fans would beg to differ, Madge. Apparently her confidence has spiraled way down because of her soon-to-be-ex hubby's words. People shell out over a thousand bucks to go see your 50-year-old rump shakin', girl! We can't imagine the opinion of your husband could ever affect your confidence. We can't imagine 50 blimps with the logo "Madonna looks like my grandma" could even affect it either.
