You may not know this but one of our main thrills in life is The National Enquirer. There aren't many publications, or people for that matter out there, who come by what they are honestly. Those crazy kids are always getting into trouble for shedding light on nasty truths (we'll admit sometimes half-truths) about public figures. Take their latest report on the beehive lady, Sarah Palin. She allegedly knocked boots with her husband's business partner according to the tab. And McCain's peeps are not taking this one without of flock of lawyers. “The smearing of the Palin family must end. The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Gov. Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie,” said McCain senior adviser Steve Schmidt. He continued to say “The efforts of the media and tabloids to destroy this fine and accomplished public servant are a disgrace. The American people will reject it." You mean like the efforts of the McCain campaign to destroy the fine and accomplished Barack Obama? Funny how we never saw him taking legal action as they continued to try to smear Obama's name over and over again every chance they could.
